‘Whatcha Want’ is the first solo single of 2016 from Jesse Rose and it arrives with a punch of chunk and full of cheek, just as you'd expect. Says Jesse about the record, released on his own Play It Down imprint, "I love deep records and I love techno records. But as a producer I really feel at home making house tracks with a serious beat and a load of tongue-in-cheek on top - I feel like I may have perfected that here. LOL! I just made it for a bit of fun but since playing it out it's really been going off, so that's when I decided to put it out."
Earlier this year we saw Jesse release a Fabriclive compilation to critical acclaim, remix Rudimental, Cassius, Mathias Kaden and Roland Clark, start a collaboration with Junior Sanchez ‘Midnight Snacks’ (their first single ‘The Journey' drops next month on Davide Squillace’s This And That label). Carrying on though this summer Jesse also has new music coming an an EP on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It label and Riva Starr’s Snatch! label.
Jesse has also just started a monthly residency this summer at Pikes in Ibiza for his brand new 'Not Another' branded parties with Junior Sanchez, and he will also be playing solo as part of a residency at Space.
